TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

On Wednesday, the man accused of killing his ex-wife faced a judge.

Ronald Boaston was arraigned in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. He is charged with murdering Brandi Gonyer-Boaston.

Police say Boaston killed her in Toledo before taking her body to Fulton County, where she was left in a running car. The coroner ruled the cause of death as asphyxiation.

Boaston's bond was set at $1 million cash for each of the two murder charges.

He will be back in court at the end of May for a pretrial hearing.

A memorial fund has been set up for Brandi Gonyer-Boaston. Donations can be made at any Huntington bank and will go toward funeral costs and care for her six children.
