Tucson's Folk Fest kicks off

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Happening this weekend, Tucson's 29th Annual Folk Festival.  The celebrations kicked off earlier today in downtown Tucson at El Presidio Park

The festival is featuring five different stages with over 140 acts and 400 musicians.  Food and craft vendors will also be there and new this year a guitar raffle.

The festival is going on tonight until 10 and tomorrow from 11 am and 9 pm.  Admission is free but a $10 donation is appreciated.

    A man entered the Walmart Neighborhood Market at Camino Seco and Broadway on Monday, Sept. 25 and began waving a gun around, according to Sgt. Kim Bay, spokeswoman for the Tucson Police Department.
