TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Construction headaches continue on I-10 this week between Ruthrauff Road and Miracle Mile.

Multiple westbound on/off ramps will also began May 8 at 9 p.m. and will reopen on May 11 by 9 p.m. These include the on-ramp at Miracle Mile, the Prince Road on/off ramps and the Ruthrauff Road on-ramp.

Alternate routes include the westbound off-ramp at Miracle Mile and the westbound on-ramp at Ruthrauff Road.

In addition, crews will shave westbound I-10 down to two lanes from 5 a.m. Saturday to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Shoulder closures on the interstate will also take place from Friday at 5 a.m. through Monday, May 12 at 5 p.m.

Construction workers will pave westbound I-10 while these closures take place. This is the final phase of the ongoing Interstate widening project.

The Arizona Department of Transportation wants to remind travelers to slow down and be aware of construction workers and equipment in the area.

Speeds on I-10 will be reduced to 45 mph while this work takes place.
