TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Authorities are investigating a stranger danger incident after two students said a woman tried to lure them into a van while walking home from school on the west side.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, two students said a woman in medical scrubs told them to get in the car, first in Spanish, then again in English at Robins Elementary School, near Silverbell and Sweetwater.

The school has sent a letter to parents letting them know exactly what happened.

Those kids said she then turned around and headed back toward them, so they reportedly ran home and told their mom.

The suspect's vehicle was described as an older model and tan in color.
