The San Diego SEO and San Diego Internet Marketing Meetup groups are collaborating to bring together top industry brand strategist for a night of education, networking, and socializing on Wednesday, May 7th.

The San Diego SEO and San Diego Internet Marketing Meetup groups are collaborating to bring together top industry brand strategist for a night of education, networking, and socializing on Wednesday, May 7th.

On Wednesday, May 7th, The San Diego Internet Marketing and SEO Meetup groups are collaborating to host an event at the University of San Diego in support of USD’s Professional and Continuing Education Program for Digital Marketing. The May 7th event marks the first time that the Meetup duo have partnered with the University, in a collaboration that projects to have far reach into San Diego’s internet marketing community.

USD Program Coordinator Pamela Cappiello said of the event, “USD’s Professional and Continuing Education is proud to partner with the San Diego Search Engine Optimization Meetup group to bring some of the top brand strategists of the digital world to the campus to share their expertise”.

Wednesday’s event will feature a panel of branding experts from Karl Strauss, I.D.E.A, Elevator Agency, Experiences For Mankind and AGBegin Consulting. It will focus on best practices that brand marketers can employ to create authentic and meaningful relationships with current and potential customers alike.

“In an environment where advertisers are incessantly vying for our attention, how does a brand go about standing out from the pack?”, said group co-organizer John Bertino. “A brand needs to create a real and authentic relationship with its customers while telling its story in a memorable, yet non-evasive way.”

The two San Diego meetups have recently merged in the effort to attract marquee speakers to the group and to deliver better overall quality content to Southern California’s marketing community.

May 7th panelist and brand strategist Steven Picanza, said of the group, “ John and Kevin’s events are always great, but this time around, I think they hit a homerun. Creating authentic brand connections and the conversations that stem from those connections are topics that we are speaking with our clients about on a daily basis here at Experiences For Mankind.”
