BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger has been selected by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the NFL draft.

Mettenberger was the 178th overall pick in the draft.

Reports surfaced earlier this week that Mettenberger's drug test had been flagged.

The LSU quarterback started 25 games finishing with a 19-6 record, completing 407 passes on 659 attempts. Mettenberger also threw 35 touchdowns in his Tiger career.
