Hereford man suspected of luring a minor for sex

SIERRA VISTA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Sierra Vista Police detectives arrested a Hereford man after receiving tips suggesting he had inappropriate relations with a minor.

Department officials said Jeremy James Belden met the underage girl in an Internet chatroom where they reportedly discussed having sex and later met to carry out their plans, according to police.

Authorities booked Belden into the Cochise County Jail on May 8 on charges of sexual conduct with a minor, luring a minor for sexual exploitation, aggravated luring of a minor for sexual exploitation and conspiracy to commit sexual exploration of a minor. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
