TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson News Now's Dan Marries was on the scene after a truck crashed into a power pole near Broadway and Camino de Secco.

The accident occurred just after midnight near Sarnoff and Shiloh. A Tucson Police Department Crime Scene Unit and Tucson Electric Power were seen responding.

The front end of the truck sustained heavy damage.

Witnesses on the scene say a passenger in the vehicle was injured and the driver was arrested. Tucson Police have not yet been able to confirm the details of the incident.

The accident coincides with a power outage in the area, according to TEP PIO Joe Barrios. The eastside outage caused 300 customers to lose power, which was fully restored by 5:15 a.m.
