FINDLAY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Findlay police say a motorcyclist hit speeds of more than 130 mph during a pursuit through the city late Saturday night.

The chase began around 11:30 p.m. on County Road 212, when the motorcyclist would not pull over as police attempted to make a traffic stop.

Police say instead, the driver increased speed, fleeing from the officer.

The driver, 20-year-old Kenneth H. Beasley, of Findlay, turned south onto County Road 236 until reaching the Walmart parking lot on Tiffin Avenue.

Beasley led police through the Walmart and Kohl's parking lots, turning onto Tiffin Avenue and driving out of Findlay City limits on US 224 E.

Police say Beasley eventually came to a stop in the parking lot of 2860 US Route 224 in Alvada (Seneca County).

Beasley was arrested and taken to the Hancock County Justice Center. The pursuit lasted approximately nine minutes and for 13 miles.

There were no injuries or crashes.

Beasley faces charges for Failing to Comply with an Officer, a third degree felony.
