Get immunizations done now, avoid the last minute rush

PIMA COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

There's a way to avoid long lines at Pima County back-to-school immunization clinics in August.

The county is reminding us to get those vaccinations now.

There is no charge for children's vaccines if you have no insurance.

If you have health insurance or ACCESS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System), you are asked to bring your card.

Bring your child's immunization record too.

A parent or guardian should accompany the child.

The Pima County Health Department says you may make an appointment at any of the following locations:

EAST OFFICE - 6920 E. Broadway Boulevard, (520) 298-3888

NORTH OFFICE - 3550 N. First Ave. (520) 243-2850

SOUTH OFFICE - 175 W. Irvington Road, (520) 889-9543

GREEN VALLEY - 601 N. La Canada Drive, Green Valley, (520) 648-1626

CATALINA - 3535 E. Hawser, Catalina, (520) 825-9299, (520) 243-2850
