Tucson gymnasts medal at championships in Long Beach, CA

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Last weekend six gymnasts from Gymnastics World Central (Ft. Lowell and Stone) competed in the 2014 Men's Junior Olympic National Championships in Long Beach, California. 

According to a recent release the six medaled in several events, thanks to the hard work of the boys by putting lots of hours in the gym and their amazing coaches Yoichi Tomita and Cory Morin. 

Here are the results from this weekend's championships:

-Angel Leon (level 9 - 13 year old division) 1st All Around, 1st Floor, Vault, High Bars

-Cabel Rodriguez (level 10 -16 year old division) 5th Floor, and 15th All Around

-Brett Miller (level 10 - 16 year old division) Top 10 on Parallel Bars and 24th All-Around

-Nathan Goff (level 10 - 16 year old division) 1st All Around, 1st High Bar, 4th Floor

-Joshua Everitt (level 10 - 17 year old division) 6th All Around, 3rd Floor

-Zach Rieger (level 10 - 18 year old division) 2nd All Around, 3rd Floor, 5th Rings, 6th Vault.
