TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Stone Canyon Community Foundation awarded the Girl Scouts of America a $15,000 grant for their Social Justice program.

The Social Justice program provides care to girls who are in crisis, living in foster care or group homes, girls with incarcerated mothers or who are in detention.

"This grant from the Stone Canyon Community Foundation Fund will help us change girls' lives," said Debbie Rich, Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona.

The Stone Canyon Foundations awards grants based on an organization's work to help young people get on track and stay there.
