(KLTV) -

There has been a possible break in the hunt to find the home invaders dressed like ninjas.

Yesterday, the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Florida arrested three men: Frank Bower, Johnathan Contreras, and Andres Perez. Investigators say the three broke into a multi-million dollar home, tied up the owner, and robbed him.

Sound familiar?

That's because that is exactly what happened in two East Texas homes last month. First, in Rusk County, then in Gregg.

In fact, Florida officials say two of the three suspects arrested have ties to East Texas. Investigators called the Rusk County Sheriff's office as well as the Gregg County Sheriff's office because they saw our stories about the home invasions.

Now, we know that Bower has East Texas ties. In fact, we interviewed him ten years ago for a story. At that time, Bower told us about how he and his family had moved from Florida to Rusk County to start a rehab center for people getting out of prison. That center was called Family Prayer Center Rehab.

Back then, Bower told us he used to be a bodyguard for mob boss John Gotti. He told us that he had left his life of crime, and had become a minister. You can read that story here.

Investigators in Florida are looking into the possibility the three suspects are connected to other home invasion robberies across their state. KLTV is closely monitoring this story, and will have more for you as soon as it becomes available.

Long before the announcement of New Mexico State University playing in the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl, the Aggies have been focused on Tucson and the rest of the state. For the last year and a half, administrators have paid for advertisements and marketing efforts aimed at potential students in Arizona. Applications show that it may be working.
