TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police Department detectives are investigating an overnight shooting outside a bar on Tucson's west side.

Sgt. Chris Widmer with TPD says got the call about a shooting in the parking lot of Famous Sam's near Grant and Silverbell around 12:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to Tucson Police an argument broke out between the victim, the suspect and a third person. At some point a gun was taken out and shots fired. 

The suspect escaped on foot. Police searched for him, but couldn't find him.  The third man only had minor injuries.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
