PIMA COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pavement work will continue through May in Tucson and near Arivaca, which will affect your drive to and from work.

From May 19 to May 30, crews will give Ruthrauff Road a face-lift, from Davis Avenue near I-10 as it turns into Wetmore Road toward Fairview Avenue.

They'll work from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Because of this, lane closures will be in place, so plan accordingly.

Workers will also pave Arivaca Road between the I-19 Frontage Road and the entrance to Sopori Elementary School, which is located at 5000 W. Arivaca Road.

This construction will go from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. as well, but should be finished by Friday, May 23.

Pima County Department of Transportation crews will also close lanes in this area, so plan for delays here.

Please always drive slowly and carefully in all construction zones.
