TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Six teenagers are in the hospital after late night crash on Tucson's east side.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department says it happened around 10:50 Wednesday night in the 13800 block of East Success Drive. According to deputies, the car was heading eastbound when the driver lost control. The car went off the side of the road and rolled over.

One of the teenagers was taken to the hospital by helicopter with life threatening injuries. The others were taken by ambulance with severe to minor injuries.

The Sheriff's Department says the teens had attended a commencement ceremony at Pantano High School before the incident. They say alcohol and drugs may have been a factor in the crash.
