TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Six schools in the Tucson Unified School District were vandalized over the holiday weekend, according to a district spokeswoman who said the damage was mostly broken windows.

The targeted schools included Wheeler Elementary, Ft. Lowell Elementary, Roberts Elementary, Naylor Middle School, Utterback Middle School and Pueblo High School.

Police arrested several students for being inside Fort Lowell Elementary, which has been closed for many years. They didn't find any damage, but security was monitoring the school on Tuesday.
