    Crews are still working to clear the tracks after an overnight derailment in Pinal County. There were no injuries reported and nothing hazardous was on the train cars. Authorities say the track could be cleared up of cars by noon.

    The Towns of Oro Valley and Marana, as well as Golder Ranch Fire District are offering free sandbags to residents who need to protect their homes. According Oro Valley and Marana officials, a limited number of sandbags are available to residents of both towns; residents within the Golder Ranch Fire District service area are also eligible.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Amphitheater School District is sending five teams to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals in Iowa, according to a recent district release.

The teams heading to Ames, Iowa this week consist of two from Painted Sky Elementary School, one from Coronado K-8, one from Prince Elementary and one from Canyon Del Oro High School. 

Odyssey of the Mind is an international program for students from kindergarten to college. Team members must apply their own creativity to solve problems, which range from building mechanical devices to representing their own interpretation of literary classics. The competition runs from May 28 to 31.

The Amphitheater School District has been participating in Odyssey of the Mind competitions for the last 26 years.
