TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A gas line break caused the temporary closure of an intersection today on Tucson's northwest side.

The intersection of North Oldfather and West Massingale roads has reopened after a brief closure.

The break was caused by a construction trailer, according to Northwest Fire District Capt. Adam Goldberg.

Southwest Gas responded to the scene and capped the leak.

Pima County Sheriff's Department and Northwest Fire were also on the scene.
