No trial date yet for Sophia Richter

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A local mother accused ofholding her three daughters captive is still waiting for a trial date.

Sophia Richter was incourt today for a status conference.

Her case is on hold whileher husband, Fernando Richter, undergoes a mental evaluation.

As of now a trial datehas not been set.

The couple is accused ofholding Sophia's three daughters captive inside their homes in Tucson andCatalina until they were freed last year.

Richter and her husbandhave pleaded not guilty to several counts of kidnapping and child abuse.

    The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 17-year-old Anthony Garcia. The teen is described as Hispanic, 5'10" tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Although he is in his late teens, according to the release, he has special needs and functions at a much younger age.
