Woman injured in carjacking

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman was injured today in a carjacking in midtown today.

According to a Tucson Police Department spokesman, a man pulled the woman out of her car while she sat at a red light at East Fifth Street and North Columbus Boulevard.

Police found her car at a home in the 4800 block of East Baker Street, near Fifth and North Swan Road.

SWAT searched the home, but did not find the suspect.

The investigation continues with a more thorough search of the home.

A description of the suspect was not released.
