Man shoots and kills roommate during argument

A 26-year-old Cleveland man is dead after his roommate shot him at their home on W. 73rd Street, according to the Cleveland Police Department.

Police were called to the duplex around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The victim was dead when they arrived. 

Joshua L. Carter, 28, was identified as the roommate who fired the handgun. 

Police say the victim, Carter and Carter's sister all live at 2269 W. 73rd. The victim had got into an argument with Carter's sister and during the altercation the victim was shot.

A weapon was located and Carter was arrested.

The shooting is under investigation.
