Tucson Fire Department crews took about 45 minutes to extinguish a brush fire near a preschool on the south side Wednesday afternoon.

According to a TFD spokesman, the fire was burning in a wash north of the school in the 5700 block of South Campbell Avenue, near East Drexel Road.
