Warren Co. man arrested; charged with aggravated vehicular assault

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A Warren County man has been arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular assault in connection with a May 14 accident in Symmes Township.

Authorities said Mitchell Christian, 34, of Harlan Township, was driving a 2009 Scion TC in the 12100 block of Rich Road with a blood alcohol content of 0.186. The legal limit in Ohio is 0.08. Christian is also suspected of having cocaine and amphetamines in his system. Toxicology tests are pending.

Christian lost control of his car, causing his vehicle to rotate counter clockwise and exit the left side of the road, according to court documents.

Two of the vehicle's three passengers were ejected from the car. All three suffered injuries. One of the passengers sustained a severe head injury that required surgery to remove part of the person's skull.

The accident happened at 2:50 a.m.
