    The Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to a barricade situation on Tucson's west side that turned into an officer-involved shooting.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A motorcyclist involved in a multi-car accident has died from his injuries, according to a release from the Oro Valley Police Department.

The man, identified as Ronald Kimball, suffered life-threatening injuries during a collision with two trucks on June 5, near La Canada and Lambert Lane.  Kimball was transported to University of Arizona Trauma Center for treatment of his injuries. 

Oro Valley Police were notified on June 9 that Kimball later died from the injuries sustained during the accident. 

The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing, according to the OVPD release.
