Police seek to ID armed robbery suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a masked armed robbery suspect.

According to police, the suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'4" to 5'6" tall, 120 to 130 pounds, with short hair. He was wearing a black Nike hoodie, gray sweatpants, a red hat with tan brim, black sunglasses, dark gloves, and a black bandana over his face.

Police say the suspect entered the Quick Mart at 6301 South Park Avenue armed with a handgun.

He went behind the counter and demanded money.

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

There were no injuries in the incident.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

    Police say 20-year-old Jose Ramon Rodriguez Jr. was booked into the Cochise County Jail and is facing the following charges: three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual conduct with a minor. His bail has been set at $500,000.
