    The city of Tucson, Pima County, and the National Weather Service held a news conference Tuesday afternoon to let people know what they  could face in the next 24 to 48 hours because of the remnants of Tropical Storm Odile.

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Pima County Sheriff's Department Homicide Unit is investigating the case involving the discovery of a woman's body in the desert southwest of Tucson. 

The call came in to PCSD around 7 a.m. on June 6, about suspicious activity in the 4400 block of West Tetakusim.  According to PCSD when deputies arrived on scene they found the body of a 49-year-old woman, identified as Irma Francisco. 

Francisco's body had been found in the desert near Camino de Oeste and Tetakusim Road, deputies reported they searched the body and area for signs of foul play, but found nothing. 

The Homicide Unit was called in to take over the investigation.  According to PCSD it was during this initial investigation they learned Francisco had been reported missing by the Pascua Yaqui Police Department. 

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
