Police investigating shooting on southeast side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

At least one person was shot at a house party in the southeast side Sunday night, police said.

Tucson Police responded to at least one shot fired when an altercation broke out at the home on the 9400 block of Myra Drive around 7:30 p.m.

Tucson Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Pete Dugan said the victim was shot in the face but the injury is not life-threatening. The person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators have been questioning witnesses and attendants at the party. Police have not said whether anyone has been placed in custody.
