The cause of the Friday explosion at a Hamilton home is still under an investigation, officials said Monday.
A man was inside working to rehab the house when it caught on fire Friday. Michael Campbell, a passerby, ran into the house to save the man before it collapsed from an explosion.
Hamilton Police Department said the cause initially appears to be accidental but the results of the investigation still need to be reviewed by the Ohio State Fire Marshal's office.
The victim who was inside the Ross Ave. home at the time of the fire is still being treated at University Hospital Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
