LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - She didn't walk away with the crown but Miss Indiana has people talking after her appearance at the Miss USA Pageant Sunday night.

Within minutes of Mekayla Diehl's first appearance on the stage social media lit up with comments about her figure.

The comments were not negative, but rather how normal and healthy her body looked.

After receiving all the social media attention Diehl tweeted "I worked hard on my body without obsessing over being too skinny and I couldn't be more proud."

She told the Indianapolis Star she has even been contacted about a possible TODAY Show appearance.
