TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Late breaking news as an entire neighborhood is evacuated in Cochise County and officials work to defuse two bombs.

The bombs were found in a home in Huachuca City, according to officials.  Crews have been on the scene since earlier this morning working on the situation.

A normally quiet neighborhood is even quieter this afternoon, as homes in the area were evacuated at 4 a.m. this morning.  Crews from the FBI, ATF and the Pima County Bomb Squad have been working very slowly and meticulously to defuse the two pipe bombs found in the carport.

The situation began early in the morning, with a domestic dispute, said officials. The suspect's girlfriend found what she thought looked like two pipe bombs stored in a box in the front carport.  She called police who immediately evacuated homes in the area.

Local law enforcement took the suspect into custody and he has been questioned by the ATF, but as of now, officials are not releasing what the suspect said, or why he had the bombs in the first place.

How big the bombs are has not been released, but officials are saying they have been tested and they are definitely explosive devices.  Other hazardous materials were also found in the carport, which has also complicated things, say officials.
