If you see a crowd of emergency crews at the postal service in Cincinnati Tuesday, don't be alarmed. The U.S. Postal Service is holding a full-scale emergency evacuation and response exercise.
The exercise will be held in conjunction with Cincinnati first responders and will take place at the Cincinnati Mail Processing and Distribution Center at 1591 Dalton Avenue.
The purpose of the exercise is to test the coordinated efforts of the postal service and the City of Cincinnati in emergency preparedness response plans.
The exercise is slated to begin at 10 a.m. and last about three hours.
Retail services at the Cincinnati Main Post Office will be closed at the beginning of the exercise from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
