PEORIA, AZ (CBS5) -

A historic vehicle with ties to one of the fallen Yarnell Hill Hot Shots will serve as a memorial to all 19 victims after it is delivered back to Prescott in a procession on July 3.

Jesse Steed, a member of the Granite Mountain Hot Shots, was rebuilding the 1957 GMC pickup that had been in the family for years. After his passing, the family asked that someone finish his work.

Streets Rod by Auto Art in Phoenix picked up the project and dedicated time to finishing the re-assembly, from refitting the cab to the chasis to painting and electrical work.

The truck will be driven back to Prescott in a procession and presented to the family and community.

The procession will be led by a Rolling Honor Guard. Fire departments are expected to join in as the truck passes through their areas.

On the day of the procession, the truck is expected to leave the shop at 13023 W. Cave Creek Road at 11 a.m. and travel north to Bell Road.@

From there, the estimated timeline is:

11:20 - Reach Bell and 51st, border of Glendale.

11:30 - Reach Bell and 75th, border of Peoria.

11:40 - Reach Bell and 91st, border of Sun City.

11:45 - Reach Bell and El Mirage roads, approximate borders of Surprise and Sun City West.

11:55 - Reach the 303, border of Wittman.

12:05 -  Reach mile marker 127 where Morristown/Circle City will take the lead.

From there, it's on to its final destination in Prescott.

The Yarnell Hill Fire started on June 28, 2013. It killed the 19 Granite Mountain Hot Shots on June 30. The fire was finally contained on July 10.
