TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The county medical examiner says a man found dead in an east side utility vault was electrocuted.

Tucson Electric Power crews found the body in a manhole near Tanque Verde Loop Road last month while investigating possible metal theft in the area.

Investigators said the man was carrying bolt cutters. The medical examiner said the body had been there between one and two years.

Investigators are still waiting for DNA tests to confirm the identity of the man.
