TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

So far, so good for a Tucson company as it looks to send tourists into space using a high-altitude balloon.

World View Enterprises says it made a test flight last week in Roswell, New Mexico, breaking the world record for highest parafoil flight, lifting a payload to 120,000 feet.

World View is planning to begin flights in 2016 for $75,000 per person.

The balloons will lift a capsule carrying six passengers into space, where they will float for about two hours.

The company hasn't decided where it will base these flights.
