TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Rincon Market is opening its doors. The popular local grocery store has been closed for nearly a year due to a fire in 2013.

Owners have opened their doors on Friday morning for a 'soft opening' and they are asking customers to be understanding as they work out the kinks.  The market will be open all weekend, with its official 'Grand Opening' happening on Monday, June 30.

The market, located near 6th Street and Tucson Boulevard has come quite a ways since the fire.

Photos posted on the Market's Facebook page show the progress that has been made since the fire.  Each department is ready to go with full shelves and merchandise on display.  There is one major change since the fire, Rincon Market will now be serving wine and beer, something they did not do before.

Also customers will notice some changes to the interior of the store, with raised ceilings and stained concrete on the floor instead of tile.

Rincon Market has been serving the Tucson community since the 1920s and the owners are very excited to reopen its doors.

The official grand opening is happening on Monday, June 30 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
