TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman died when her ATV crashed near Ina and Ellexson Drive late Saturday night, according to Pima County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Chris Nanos.

The woman, 38-year-old Geneva McClean was driving an ATV home from a birthday party, heading southbound on Ellexson Drive.

She drove through the intersection of Ina Road and crashed into a brick and mortar mailbox.

Sheriff's deputies performed life saving measures on McClean until Picture Rock Fire arrived on the scene. They transported her to the trauma center where she was pronounced dead.

Sheriff's Department traffic units took over the investigation. McClean was not wearing a helmet and alcohol may have been a factor on the crash.
