TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police have arrested three men in connection to a shooting and robbery that occurred Sunday.

James Norwood, Antoine Parks and Justin Shelton were arrested just two hours after the shooting incident Sunday night.

The victim, David Jones, Jr., called 911 around 9 p.m. Sunday and told police he was shot in the leg on Mansfield in west Toledo. Police say Jones met the three suspects at his car and then led them into his apartment. Once there, police say an argument began and one of the suspects punched Jones, and another shot him. The suspects then robbed Jones of $100 and took off.

Toledo Police have not said why Jones was targeted for the robbery, but they did say the suspects will be brought to justice.

"We were able to quickly identify and take into custody the three guys who were responsible for this event," said Sgt. Joe Heffernan. "They will learn their lesson and will spend time in prison before getting out. Hopefully we won't have this situation again."

All three men appeared in front of a judge on Monday, charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Their bond was set at $100,000.

Jones was taken to the hospital Sunday night, but was not seriously injured.
