TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - AAA Arizona is offering 'tipsy tow' services for the Fourth of July holiday. 

Service will start at 6 p.m. Friday, July 4 and run through Saturday, July 5 at 6 a.m. 

For a 'tipsy tow' take the following steps:

Call 1-800-AAA-HELP (800-222-4357), state a tipsy tow is needed then provide the driver's name, home address, phone number and vehicle/driver location. 

As before the 'tipsy tow' is a free 10 mile tow and ride home; mileage over this is charged at the standard towing rate.  This service does not include roadside assistance.

"As a leader in driver safety, AAA wants motorists to keep the fireworks in the sky and not on the roadways this Fourth of July," said Linda Gorman, director of communications and public affairs for AAA Arizona. 

"AAA recommends always planning ahead for a safe ride home.  However, if those plans fall through, Tipsy Tow is available."
