The Cincinnati Police Department said there was an increase in burglary activity during the month of June in College Hill.
Authorities said the incidents were reported mostly during the day between the hours of 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Savannah and Meis avenues. The most prominent day of the week for burglaries was Monday.
Access to most of the residences was gained through either a rear door or window, police said.
Residents are asked to inform fellow community members about the string of burglaries. District Five said the department committed to reducing crime and disorder in College Hill and has resources and materials to help residents reduce their chances of victimization.
