TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department said it will resume the search for the man who was possibly swept away by a flash flood over the weekend.

The missing man may have been homeless, according to residents in the neighborhood. He often was seen under the bridge with his dog trying to escape the heat. Residents called 911 to report a man calling for help beneath the bridge, near Prince and I-10.

According to officials the search will pick up about a mile away from where the initial call for help came in.
