MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Construction continues this week along Thornydale Road near Tangerine Road. The work should last for about another two weeks, according to Marana officials.

Workers are installing pipe along Thornydale Road between Vista Ranch Place and Thornydale Road between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Because of this, look for lane closures going both ways on Thornydale.

This project originally kicked off on June 30. These construction steps are part of a Tucson Water project to install a new reclaimed water main.

Always drive slowly and carefully in all construction zones. Look for detours and people with flags guiding drivers through the cone zone.

La Cholla Boulevard is an alternate option for drivers who want to avoid this headache altogether.

This project could be postponed, depending on weather or other factors.
