Tucsonan finalist in Dairy Queen S'mores video contest

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Tucson resident is one of three finalists in the DQ S'mores music video contest.

According to a recent release from Dairy Queen Tucsonan, Michael Jones is one of three finalists in the S'mores video contest. Jones will have a chance to win $10,000 if his video is the winner. The grand prize winner is chosen via fan vote online. Second place will receive $1,000 and the third place winner will receive one Blizzard treat a month for a year (a $260 DQ gift card).

In June fans were asked to submit a 45 to 60 second video of a verse of the S'mores song featured in the DQ commercial. Jones video titled 'Ultimate S'MORES song remix' features Jones and several of his friends at a local Dairy Queen and includes lyrics like 'feeling kind of hot in this sunny weather, call up my friends and let's get together, head to DQ…'

To view Jones' video and vote, go online to www.DQsmoresvideocontest.com. The winner will be chosen on Monday, July 28.
