2nd Saturdays celebrates 'Summer in the City' in July

Looking to cool off on a Saturday night? Why not head downtown to 2nd Saturday's 'Summer in the City' celebration this weekend.

Several local bands will be featured on several stages during the 2nd Saturdays event. There is guaranteed to be something for the whole family, from food and music to kids events and street entertainment.

2nd Saturdays begins at 5 p.m. and lasts until 10:30 p.m. The following is a list of entertainment for this Saturday's event.

West Side Rides car club will have several classic cars lined up on 6th Avenue north of Congress for all to see. There will also be a Kid's Area at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum (414 N. Toole) with a free movie. Frozen will play at the July 12 event; the movie starts at 7:30 p.m. There will even be a chance for the adults to win a new Jeep, all proceeds from ticket sales will go to 2nd Saturdays.

7:30 p.m.: Tucson Circus Arts

7:45 p.m. - 9 p.m.: Carlos Arzate & the Kind Souls Sonoran Soul Rock

9 p.m.: Tucson Circus Arts

9:15 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.: Five Way Street Classic Rock

FOX THEATRE, (17 W. Congress St.):
NPC TERMINATOR 2014 - The NPC Terminator is a Bodybuilding, Fitness, Figure, Bikini and Men’s physique competition that is sure to entertain and motivate you to get in the best shape of your life. It is for all ages to watch and enjoy. Prejudging Session 10 a.m. Finals will be at 6 p.m.; tickets are $36.

HOTEL CONGRESS, (311 E. Congress St.):
The Unday CD Release w/The Missing Parts - 7 p.m.; show is 21 and older, tickets are $5.

RIALTO THEATRE, (318 W. Congress St.):
K-BASS - 7 p.m. doors open, 8 p.m. show starts, all ages, tickets are $5.
