Downtown streets reopen after pedestrian hit by train

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A 25-year-old man died on Wednesday night after he was hit by a train, Tucson Police Sgt. Pete Dugan confirmed.

Parts of Sixth Street and 7th Avenue were closed while authorities investigated. The area has since reopened.

Union Pacific Railroad is taking over the investigation.
