TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Movies in the Park is still going strong even after ten years of showing free movies to Tucsonans.

There are still several more free movies to see at Reid Park this summer. July 18 will be 'How to Train Your Dragon.'

Movie-goers are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy these movies near Reid Park's Demeester Performing Arts Pavilion (900 Randolph Way, Tucson). Also on hand will be popcorn, soda, food vendors, live music and much more. Bring the whole family and make a night of it.

This free event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on Fridays, with the movie showing on a 40 foot screen (a big change from the original bed sheet used when it first started.)

Check out the list to see what's playing next.

August 1 - Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader

August 15 - Night at the Museum

August 29 - Mr. Peabody and Sherman

Movies in the Park are made possible by Cox Communications and the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA).
