Pet lovers can find a new furry friend from local rescue organizations, the latest pet news, and participate in the local animal-lovers community.

Every Tuesday on KOLD News 13 live at noon, we team up with Pima Animal Care Center to find homes for pets at the shelter.

Today's pet is a unique one, PACC Officer Teresa Bowdon is here with Drake the cat.

Drake was surrendered by his owner back in April, due to an overcrowding situation in the home. He is friendly and gets along well with other animals.

This kitty is looking for a home where he can get lots of love. Drake is already neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated against rabies. His adoption fee has been waived due to the length of stay at PACC.

Stop by PACC on north Silverbell Road and ask to see Drake.

Last week's pet, Pinto was adopted the same day he was featured on Tuesday's Tail.

For more great pictures of Drake visit the Ted Hewitt Photography Facebook page.

We are currently working hard to make sure DIRECTV customers continue to have access to KOLD without interruption. But there is a chance they will not agree to a fair deal, and decide to drop this station from their system. We're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.
