Partnership Marks Peanut Butter & Co.s First Co-Branding Effort

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 17, 2014

The only combination better than peanut butter and bananas? Peanut butter, bananas, and ice cream! Peanut Butter & Co. and Turkey Hill have joined forces to create Limited Batch All Natural Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream, made with banana-flavored ice cream swirled with Peanut Butter & Co.s Smooth Operator peanut butter.

Made in a limited batch, Turkey Hill All Natural Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream is the latest addition to the companys All Natural Ice Cream lineup. In line with Peanut Butter & Co. and Turkey Hills all natural philosophies, the flavor is made with the simplest of ingredients just cream, milk, sugar, bananas, and Peanut Butter & Co. peanut butter (made from peanuts, sugar, peanut oil, and salt).

Ice cream flavors with peanut butter always seem to be big sellers, and peanut butter and banana sandwiches are enjoying a newfound popularity, said Peanut Butter & Co.s Founder and President Lee Zalben. This is an ice cream flavor whose time has come!

Peanut Butter & Co. will celebrate the launch of Turkey Hill All Natural Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream on National Ice Cream Day July 20, 2014 by serving free scoops from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., or until supplies last, at the Peanut Butter & Co. Sandwich Shop in New York City (240 Sullivan Street, between Bleecker & West 3rd Streets).

Turkey Hill All Natural Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream marks the companys first partnership for its All Natural Ice Cream lineup and Peanut Butter & Co.s first co-branding effort.

For Zalben, working with Turkey Hill is a bit of a homecoming. I grew up in Philadelphia, not far from Lancaster where Turkey Hill ice cream is manufactured, he says. Turkey Hill was my familys favorite ice cream brand. It was always exciting when Mom would open up the freezer, pull out a carton of Turkey Hill and proclaim, Its ice cream time! to the delight of my little brother and I. Back then, I never dreamt Id have the opportunity to work with Turkey Hill to create a new ice cream flavor!

Turkey Hill All Natural Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream will be in stores July through September 2014 at select grocers and convenience stores wherever Turkey Hill products are sold. For more information, visit turkeyhill.com.
