    India has banned the sale of cows for slaughter to protect an animal many Hindus consider holy, but states and industries say the ban will hit beef and leather exports and deprive millions of people of a cheap source of protein.

(RNN) - Onlookers at a Buckingham Palace changing-of-the-guard ceremony got a special treat from the Queen's Guard: a live rendition of the Game of Thrones title theme.

YouTube user Omer Barnea wrote the impromptu performance happened July 15. The performance by the uniformed guard gave a regal feel to the opening music of the HBO show of men and women vying for the crown of the fictional Westeros.

The video has been viewed more than 1.2 million times since it was posted on the website.

Queen Elizabeth II already had a brush with the Iron Throne from the show, although she refused to take a seat on it. She and Prince Philip visited the set and met with cast members in Belfast during a three-day tour of Northern Ireland in June.
