    The King Fire has charred about 8,600 acres in the El Dorado National Forest in California.

 PATEROS, WA (CNN) - Nearly two dozen wildfires have destroyed homes and burned nearly a million acres across the Pacific Northwest.

Video from a remote-controlled aerial vehicle shows the damage left by the flames. 

Virtually nothing is left untouched around Pateros, WA, about 200 miles east of Seattle.

More than 150 structures have been lost to fires in Washington state and Oregon over the past week.
